Kickstarter progress

Well that was a good start 😀So the Kickstarter for The Murder Club: Useless Deaths – Part 2 is going well so far. I’m really happy to see these pledges coming in right at the start of the campaign, and even happier to see that most were from returning backers who helped fund Part 1 – that means they liked the story!

Now, after the first week comes the quiet middle period, but I will be keeping things alive by doing lots of updates, some only for backers. So if you want to get all the behind-the-scenes stuff, then make sure you get your pledge in now.

The Murder Club on the internet

So far there have been previews of the Kickstarter at Comic Book News UK and in the latest Fanbase Press Crowdfunding Fridays article.

Also the Kickstarter widget is featured on the front page of both A Place To Hang Your Cape (AP2HYC) and the True Believers website.

There aren’t any reviews yet (as there were for Part 1) as I’m still finishing the comic, but I’ll hope to get it sent off end of May, so they should start coming back in June.

My next Comic Con

This Saturday 14th April I’ll have a table at the Leam Comic Con. It starts at 10AM and I’ll be there selling and signing both my comics, including Part 1 of The Murder Club, as well as all my novels. Oh, and there will be loads of other indie and pro comics people there too. I’m really looking forward to this one, especially as it’s just down the road from me, so I hope to see you there!

Leam Comic Con

Right, that’s it for this update. Got to start writing an exclusive backer update to go up tomorrow – you know you want it!

Tony.
