Hugh Howey Author Earnings Report
If you are even slightly into self-publishing ebooks you have probably heard about the furore author Hugh Howey has stirred up with his Author Earning Report based on Amazon sales ranking data.
I’m not going to recap what he goes into great detail on in his reports, but he has grabbed data on the top 54,000 titles now and, along with a colleague, done data crunching to get some very interesting sales and earnings info on the Big Five vs self-published authors.
A must read at the moment, and all the raw data is open for anyone to do their own stats on too.
